250 Watt Double Ended 20000K

I searched all over for a MH DE bulb that had BLUE, I posted on every reef forum there was. I read an ad on EBay that said they took the picture under XM 250W 20K bulbs. So I thought lets give these bulbs a try. These were what I was looking for all along! I do not even have to run my actinic with these bulbs. The growth is still better then most of my friends. Just to give you an idea: Both my friend and I have the exact same tank. both are 30 Tall 300 Gallons, 96X24X30. His lighing is 4 400W SE 20K bulbs from another manufacture. He also runs 320W of actinic VHO lighting. If he turns off the actinic VHO lighting the tank is too bright to enjoy. My lighting 3 250W DE HQL 20K XM Bulbs, nothing else! We both got our new bulbs at the same time (2 months ago), we measured the same coral height as soon as we started this test. My coral has growing 1/4 to 1/2 inch in two months. His is less then 1/4. I will forever use these bulbs so long asn I am in the hobby, most likely until I am too old to take care of my tank. Your cannot go wrong with these bulbs!

I just switched to XM 20k and I love the color. I can see why all of the wholesale coral farmers use this lamp. Very satisfied.
